Mezzo-soprano Rebecca Ringle-Kamarei’s performances have brought acclaim as an interpreter of "otherworldly luminousness" on international operatic and concert stages. This season she returns to the Metropolitan Opera, debuts with Berkshire Opera Festival and the Phoenix Symphony, and appears on tour with the Ravinia Festival and at Art Basel Miami with director Tara Subkoff.

In 2013, she debuted at the Met as Rossweise in Die Walküre and has joined them for productions of Elektra, Nixon in China, and Rigoletto. Other perfomances include art song and oratorio at Carnegie and Avery Fisher Halls and with Marlboro and Bard Music Festivals, the title role in Handel’s Ariodante with the Princeton Festival, Dido in Dido and Aeneas with the Macau International Music Festival in China and further performances with the Cleveland Orchestra, Oratorio Society of New York, Orchestra Giuseppi Verdi di Milano, New York City Opera, American Opera Projects, and Washington National Opera.

Ms. Ringle Kamarei is a graduate of Oberlin College and Yale School of Music.
